When LD Communications moved offices recently, it took the opportunity to upgrade its Panasonic A series phone system to a digital S-ICX. The original system was installed in March 1994.
“We needed to provide direct line access to people and the S-ICX does that as well as providing voice mail. Although we could have retained our existing handsets, we thought we would boost morale by renewing the handsets at the same time to provide a more pleasing aesthetic look.”
“Without doubt though, one of the major reasons for the upgrade was the call logging software that we can use with the new system. We recharge all relevant expenses and overheads to our clients. Say, for example, we are doing promotion for a client, we can give them a code and every call that is made on their behalf is tracked using the PanaStat Gold call logging software, making it very easy to recharge at the end of the month. We’re really pleased with both the new phone system and the call logging software. In the months to come, we intend to explore and maximise it’s capabilities to the full.”
